It's finally finished, the 1000 gallon lagoon/sump/fuge?

I just got back from the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach (CA) and they have a large lagoon setup. Somehow it sparked my interest in lagoons.. and I found this thread! I had no idea that people do this right in their own home  That is just so cool! Your lagoon is VERY nice.

Why is it called a lagoon? I don't see Gilligan or the Skipper in any of the pics. J/K Very cool idea and a great job.

here is a couple shots of the 240 that is located upstairs and is part of the lagoon system, together they total nearly 1300 gallons

Supper jealous of the lagoon. Extremely modified sump idea. The more I come to these websites, the more I want to do to my house. LOL.

I would like to see more detailed pics of the lagoon..and more specifics
on its construction... you didn't really go into detail when you started this
thread...

UPDATES PLEASE!!!! ...
