its like monti but not

could someone please tell me what the neon yellow/green monti looking thing is?i thought it was monti but its growing different and has short sweeper tenticles that sometimes come out.

wow,not much traffic here.well i think i found it on my own.Pocillopora_ligulata ?only i see nothing mentioned anywhere about the small sweepers i've seen on it from time to time.i also think the polyps are turning more yellow from old bulbs over them.there were more green when i bought the frag.

I was guessing some kind of Pocillopora. Your right though, this new ID forum sucks. I don't know why the mods don't want anybody looking at ID threads

Could be a Porites, via process of elimination, but could belong to another group. I can't imagine it as a Montipora! Interesting is the wide spacing between the corallites.

I have no problem with a seperate ID forum, but it should be displayed on the main menu, not just the sub-menu! No one can find it.
