I've been raising bunches of Floridian Monster Crabs!

Awhile ago I ordered 'aquacultured' live mysids off aquabid.
Many of them perished in transit; some adults made it (easily recognized as mysids) but there were also smaller ones in the shipment that I assumed were just a younger life stage of mysids.
Not so.
I fed the mysids to the mandarin dragonets in my quarantine tank.
I have moved the mandarins since then to my display tank and I looked into my empty but circulating QT today:
Apparently I am growing some type of fast growing Floridian crab. I have bunches of them.
Way too big for anybody to eat these!
I am so glad I didn't dump the wanna be mysids into the display tank.
I guess I've been had - aquacultured ... yeah right.
Anybody want some really fast growing crabs? Are they edible?

Here you go. Apparently they eat each other when there's no other food...

Ugh! I guess you won't be ordering from there any more. Do you know anyone who has a mantis? They would make a mighty fine mantis snack. ;)

Luckily I only put them into the QT which is bare bottom with a few PVC pieces and Chaeto (for the fish to hide in).
I am just going to scoop them out and feed them to the chickens. I am sure they'll appreciate a little seafood...
