I've got worms

Just like the title says. I've been peeking at the sandbed at night and started noticing numerous little worms, probably bristleworms on and in the sandbed. I know they're not fireworms, but are there any others that can be detrimental to a reef tank?

There's plenty of worms out there that can be detrimental to a tank, but I'm guessing that the ones your seeing are just harmless "spaghetti" worms. You'll tend to see these more than you will the bad ones IMO. My DSB was so full of those little opaque colored worms at one time that when I fed the tank the ground would literally move. It was AWESOME! Here's a few good articles.

Really, they're great CUC. And usually free. The only bad guy that you might possibly see is pretty obvious, has tentacles on its head, grows large, and is called a eunicid. Even he's ok in a sump fuge.
