Ive killed most of my fish with hypo

I had an ick out break a few weeks ago so I set up a QT and put my fish in. I lowered the salinity by using the method in this link.

Today I found my purple tang, tomatoe clown and mandarin dead. I still have a hippo tang and 6 line in the tank. The salinity was at 1.010 this morning. ph was 8.2. Its been like that for 2 weeks. I have been doing 5 gallon water changes everyday and testing the water everyother day. I dont understand why the hypo is not working? The hippo and 6 line are completely covered in ick and do not look good. I thought the hypo was supposed to kill the ick? Today I started to raise the salinity back to normal. Right now its at 1.015. Once I get it back to normal I will start copper. Is this the right thing to do? I dont want to lose all my fish. Please help

Are you using a refractometer?
What size tank are they in? You would need a pretty big qt with these fish

Like above stated are you using a refractometer?

If it hasn't cleared up with Hypo it may not be ich, but velvet. Hypo doesn't work on ich.
