I've never seen a clown do this

This is one of fishboy42's misbar ocellaris. He sat in this position between the rock and gbta for over 20 minutes tonight, without moving. The large female eventually pushed him up out of this position by just swimming into him. I've had her for years, and have never seen her sit still. This little male sat there without moving. Anyone else have clowns sit still for that long?

My CBB is FINALLY eating the smallest of my aip's. Did your cbb eat very large ones? This lil' guy is about 2.5".

Shakes and buddy sometimes gets nice and nestled and don't appear to be moving, or move only with the anemone. Isn't it cool having a pair? Thanks Phoenix;).

Once they find a spot they like, they usually stay there (until they split, then they move a little, but the clones sometimes move. Mine have been staying in pretty close proximity of one another. I had eight of the monsters runnign around the tank at one time and have ever only lost one coral (hydnophora from the big 8 or 9" momma). The reds are a bit more potent from what I understand. The LTA in the 120 moves around a little, but I haven't gotten the lighting I want yet. I actually moved to the top of the tank and detached to float. It's now on the right side...It has moved a little since, but only about 3" and that was after a powerhead was blasting it for an hour or so.

Not a prob... I couldn't think of a better adoptee! :D

Any new pics of the pair?

These don't move much at all casey. If i don't get crazy with flow, and keep her under adequate light, she stays put. I just changed from a phoenix 14k to a iwasaki 65k over this 58, and she moved down about 4". Literally straight down and stayed put.
I agree Gary. I feel bad that i left her by herself for as long as i did. I highly recommend fishboy42's clowns. The three i've seen have been extremely healthy and active. I've never heard a bad thing about any of his fish.

I'll see if I can get a good pic of them:).

Shakes was alone for 9 years that I had her, so I wasn't sure if she'd even take a mate. I never even got to see the shaking behavior. One day, he stayed to one side of the tank and the next he was in the anemones with her (took a total of about two weeks, though).

The maroons must be a bit more moody. Both times in the last month or so i've introduced a new male mine were together within a day or so. She tolerates from the beginning, but access to the anemone is what took the most time. She still can be a bit aggressive when it comes to the gbta.
Have you ever seen your clowns bring food to your Sebae Gary? You always read about it in the wild, but i've never seen it myself in captivity, or heard of it for that matter. The female seems to pay special attention to the mouth of mine as well.

Yours is just a flousy:D.

I haven't seen the clowns bring food to the Sabae, but Shakes has taken krill to the anemone many a time (back when I used to feed krill). I don't feed a whole lot any more. Frozen about onece a week (tops), and spirulina flakes and cyclopeez dry pinches every night, so not a whole lot that they can bring the anemones. I usually hit the Sabae when I feed frozen, but not too heavily. I just about never feed my GBTA's any more. I don't need any more of them;).
