Jacking up a 180g?

A friend of mine has a 180g with a 55g sump, I was over his place last night and noticed that one of his overflows isn't receiving as much water as the other one. I took a bubble level tool from my car and put it on top of his tank and it is slightly uneven. The left side seems to be just a tiny bit lower.

Would it be possible/safe to use an industrial jack and lift it up just a little bit enough to level it with a heavy duty wedge or something? His stand is resting on 8" cinder blocks so we can actually fit a jack under the stand.

I'm just worried that the small extra weight on the left side might give in someday and make the tank literally crash.

The tank is currently full stocked and has been for 2 years and tanking everything out would be a PITA and may cause a cycle/crash.

Any input or suggestions on this?

over time my tank settled unevenly. what I did was take a few pry bars and lift from the bottom of the stand and place wooden shims in place to level the tank.

You can do it if you distribute the weight of the tank evenly under the jack. I would use at least a 4X4 as you don't want anything to deflect and put pressure on the bottom glass,

I would also advise sliding shims in as you raise the tank to reduce potential stresses.

I've used normal automotive car jacks to move/ adjust tanks.

I would empty as much water as you can then lift it

My 150 did the same with out issues to tank.Jacking up almost 1800 lbs is a little sketchy to me.Just a little stress on those panes of glass and you might have big issues.Imo just leave it.Oh yeah i installed a gate valve on the faster draining drain to match the slower.
