jackson6745's Feb 8th meeting

Thanks again Rich!

Thanks Jonny for posting!

Thanks all for the good chat and for helping to reorient the gyre even if we couldn't get it done in time to showcase it on Rich's tank.

Btw, I just sat with it for an hour in different configurations.for some reason all of the bearings, internal gears (removable) etc were backwards or something. So, now with cage a and b (I think the company mislabeled them) it's AWESOME. Super powerful and actually blowing in the direction it was promoted to.

So, given that. I would recommend it (esp of you put the time into ensuring the pieces are actually aligned right. Glad I didnt give up).

Thank you Rich for your warm hospitality and showing us all the tricks of how you keep one of the most amazing tanks I have ever seen. Thank you Nyrc for all that you do to keep this nice group of reefers connected and setting up these meetings. It's a lot of fun.

Thanks again Rich. You appear to have your tank dialed in and running on auto-pilot and that's a real feat. The best part it's running without a lot of bells and whistles. Truly impressive. Oh glad Monti finally warmed up to me. Took a few pieces of bread LOL

Jonny, those shots came out great. Thanks for taking them. Getting the white balance dead accurate with my lighting is a PITA. I should have turned off the blue reefbrites, they really mess with the camera :) I need to stop being lazy with the iPhone and break out the dslr.

Thanks again Rich!

William I actually picked up a gyre 130 with a store credit. I am running 100%/60% in alternating gyre mode. The flow is just about perfect. In my cube I don't think it could handle more than this smaller gyre can dish out, at least not without shooting water on the floor :)

Joe, thank you. Blast that frag with the radium and you'll see the red come out:dance:

Thank you Rich for hosting us. Definitely one of the most amazing tank I've ever seen.

Seriously beautiful tank. A real inspiration. Thanks for having us!

My pleasure, glad you enjoyed yourself/

Thanks Bill. Monte had most of his aggression focused on Jonny  so you were safe lol. How's the new lighting working out?

Luke and Jarret, great job with this club. You managed to get all the good guys in the area together, and keep things respectful and organized. Looking forward to the next meeting.
