Jackson's 115 Gallon Custom Cube 32x32x26

That's some insane growth there rich and colors are spot on man

Thanks :)

Awesome Rich, coral colors are off the chart

Thank you. The season started so it's running on auto pilot at the moment lol

any videos of your tank with gyre ?

No sorry, I actually removed the gyre. The flow pattern is not great for a cube IMO. It does better in longer tanks not cluttered with coral growth. I replaced it with a tune powerhead.

Love your Pearlberry , I wish we could buy it here. It's on number 1 of my favourite list.

It really is a beautiful coral. I'm not even sure what kind of species it is. Any ideas?

very nice looking colonies and fish, as per usual.

Fantastic tank, nice specimens!

Thanks :)

Good Looking Tank!!!

I've been looking for a bright green Montipora Cap. like this one. Where did you get it? Does it have a name?

This cap has been a popular local strand over the last 15 years. It's referred to as the "highlighter cap". I actually sold my colony last week. It was getting big and cutting down flow greatly.

As this tank grows I find the need to remove more and more corals. Reduced flow, shading, and stinging are all major issues as an overstocked reef grows in. I guess it's a good problem to have, but I am learning a lesson for the next time I stock an SPS reef.

Looking better and better Richard. I am staring to have those problems too. Overstocking is easy to do, especially if you start with all +/- 1" frags.

That pearlberry is awesoooooome rich:inlove:
Like that red dragon too....well i think i love all of your corals, lol
Such a beautifull collection buddy and colorfull too:beer:

Looking great Richard. Yeah once the corals start to really grow and fill in it's a whole other ballgame. Maintain mode is all about pruning to keep things healthy, you will be like a bonsai master soon!

As others have said, beautiful pearlberry colony! It's one of my all time favorites and literally the only coral in my tank that hasn't grown or colored up. I just can't make it happy for some reason. Any advice?

Yup.. I just went back several pages...
Nuts.. This tank is nuts.
Love it..
Need more pics..... Must have them...
What a collection...

Richard, did your bk mini pull your nutrients down at all?
With your fish collection, it has its work cut out for it.
Do they still sit around 15 n and .04 p?

Hey guys, I've been extremely busy working and the tank has suffered a little. My parameters have been all over the place and I have random STN + cyano. I'm trying my best to correct the problem, but work/life schedule getting in the way. I'll update sometime in July with details and pics.

You know what you're doing Richard so i have no doubt you'll get things back under control when work gives you a break. Look forward to hearing a positive update in July mate

I hope things settle down for you Richard. It is frustrating when every thing in life pops up and you can just do the minimum. Stretches like that happen to everyone. Good luck.

Hey guys. The tank is alive but still having some stn issue. Cyano all over, also discovered that I have redbugs lol. I'm really hating this tank right now :). I have some free time next week so I will add some interceptor, do a water change, and get things back on track. Overall the tank don't look horrible, just needs tome tlc. I'll post pics and details etc. I believe the main reason for my issues is that I was too busy to feed days at a time, which lead to "over skimming", and a bacterial collapse of my system. Cyano is becoming a pain as I ramp up my feedings again. Might have to do a lights out treatment in the future.

Good luck Rich, at least the bedbugs are a manageable problem. Hopefully the tank will be back on track in no time:)
