Here are some tank pics from this morning...sorry, none of Shai Hulud (my tiny sea cucumber), he's cruising under the sand right now, and I'm out of thumpers...

FTS...I know, I know...the scape leaves something to be desired...I want to change it a bit over time to get more vertical area, and make an "island" or two of rock with some open sand between...

My favorite portion of the tank...rock anemone and sexies, clove polyps, zoas, acans, and the world's blandest mushroom...

Close up of the sexies on my rock anemone...I had 4 originally, but 1 seems to have disappeared...I love the rock anemone, although he does an awful lot of stretching and expanding/contracting...

GSP and a mystery anemone that I got as a bonus in an order early on...it has a large foot like the rock anemone, but it found this crevice and has never budged since...an ID on it would be appreciated...

I love this barnacle cluster condo...the cloves are growing and budding, and the zoas glow like crazy under my blue light...trying to think of who could live happily in the 2 lower empty apartments...

A duncan tree that spends its days waving at me...it eats quite happily, and has grown a bunch since I put it in the tank...I have another duncan, a single head, and it opens much wider from its home in a rock crevice...

My favorite acan...I love these things, and am planning on getting a bunch more over time...the ones I've got in my tank have grown a fair amount since their introduction, and seem to love my homemade food...a blendered mix of clam and scallop and salmon and and shrimp spinach and broccoli...

Saturday morning tank mods:

1) I dropped the heater into my AC70 and dremeled the lid so that it fits nicely over the cord.*
2) I added a koralia 240 power head to increase flow and variation of currents in the tank.

I like the cleaner look of the tank without a heater in it, and think that the tank will be healthier and happier with the increased flow from and additional angle...

Nano tanks are pretty awesome. Are they more difficult to take care of in terms of water quality though, compared to a larger tank?
