Yikes! Why didn't the leadership have a say what time/day it should have happened? Plus, not to through salt (arr arr) on a wound, but didn't we know about the Sea Shor meeting way back in the fall?

Paul was taking care of this one,
originaly Steve wanted to have the December meeting,
but I didn't think it was apropriate for family style meeting we have in December.
So I suggested he take January.

It has always been up to the host to pick day and time.
I don't remember ever asking someone to move a meeting to fit my schedule.

I wish I could make it, it sounds really cool, but it's too early in the day for me.
although this saturday may be opening up unless I get more work in.

I like it that, the leadership lets the person/party hosting the meeting pick the date & time.

That reminds me that there are a lot open dates. So I better get going & pick the month I want.

While I agree that this is nice, on the flip side, always having the meeting on the same weekend is also very easy to plan for well in advance.
