The August meeting of the Joliet Area Reef Club will be held this Saturday, August 6th at 5pm at jrwoltman aka Jim's house in Plainfield, IL 60585. Please pm me for the address.
Our monthly supporting member only super raffle item number 1 will be a 12x8.5 dimable LED light fixture with 16 Royal Blue Premium LEDs and 8 Cool White Premium LEDs valued at over $360 created by Rick during our LED demo. Number 2 will be one par38 bulb that's plug and play with any normal bulb socket valued at $80. You can check out website that sells the lights here, http://reefledlights.com/
Buy one raffle ticket for $5 or 5 for $20.
We will also have a regular raffle where anyone can win, with nice prizes including two tickets to the Cubs game!
The game is on Thursday, Aug 25th at 1:20pm against the Atlanta Braves, Gate F, Aisle 223, Row 13, Seats 3+4.
Other prizes include one or more frag shelves, gift certificates, fish food, and possibly a pump.
The more members that RSVP to be at the meeting, the more prizes JP will add to the mix.

. Nice to see some more peeps in the SW burbs. I cant make it Saturday as I have to work but I would love to meet up some time to see your setups. I am just now getting back in after a 4 yr break and am excited about being back.
