Welcome! Everybody in the club are great people and have lots of knowledge to share with you for the success of your home system. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have cause somebody else may be able to explain and help answer it for you.

Thanks guys! It's nice to see an aquarium group in Jackson. I've been keeping freshwater fish for years and always wanted to get into saltwater, but $ has always been an issue. A few months ago I finally broke down and, after much research, bought a biocube 14 and started my first reef aquarium. I've been taking it slow and currently have a couple mushrooms, Green star polyps and a riccordia along with a pair of black and white clownfish in there so far. After this I am completely hooked into saltwater!! My 55 gallon freshwater aquarium is about to start being pieced together as a reef tank. Figure I'll slowly buy the things I need and find homes for the fish that are in there now. Nice to know there are so many people into the hobby in the area! I'm sure I'll seek help from you guys as time goes by! Thanks again for the warm welcome! Hope to get to meet you all at the meetings. Unfortunately I usually only have one weekend off a month so I'll probably miss most of them.

Welcome to Reef Central and JARC!! This is a good place to ask questions or stay up to date on things the club is doing. Our next meeting is April 23rd at 6pm @ Logan's Roadhouse. Are you off that weekend?

Lol of course not! With my job I'm only off when it's cold, raining and there is nothing fun going on...

But my I get my schedule for a month at a time, so if the next meeting date is set before around the 20th I can request that to be my weekend...
