Hi this may be a stupid question but I have recently set up and moved all my fish from a 29BC and 16nano into one very large 330, the question is I have a pretty big maroon clown that loves to swim across the surface of the new tank like he is a combination michael phelps / Jaws it doesn't really bother me but he does it like a nervous tick? the tank has about 600 lbs of LR so there are plenty of places to hide. He is not currently hosting anything so i thought this may be the reason for the odd behavior or something else that he is lacking? Or maybe this is just normal? His tank mates currently include an engineer goby, lawnmower blenny, fox face, yellow tang, pygmy angel, blue damsel, and a mated set of black onyx clowns they are currently hosting my frogspawn, The maroon is one of the largest fish in the tank so i wouldn't think he was nervous? any ideas is this normal?
