Jawsee's Reef

great Regal Angels, Luc - i have the yellow throated variety for over 8 years now but hats off to you as the grey throats are much more difficult to keep

Haha, like you say,no problem at all:lolspin:it's nature at best.

The idol is behaving himself very good.
ahhh ! well you have enough SPS to let them frag some too :)

that's what my Idol does ... looks at me, smiles, then nips on my fav. SPS. but its part of nature !

thanks for the new pics :)

Hey,i do watch the LED lighting market but for the moment i can't give the money.
I have ask a price for lighting my tank whit a good brand and the result was around 12000 euro,no way i am gonna give so much money for something that next year is old.

I am still a normal working guy and don't have a money three in my garden:D

In the future when the price is right mayby, too be honest i don't know many really good looking tanks whit only LED but that's another discussion.

I don't have the anthias you mention.
Luc,

With the great success you are having I can understand not wanting to change, but have you given any thought to switching to LED lighting? Just curious about your thoughts on that. Also do you have pulcherimus or randalli anthias? Thanks.

Thanks,i like them very much, especially in the morning when they are swimming together.

They are really becoming big, they are now the biggest angels in the tank and still growing,it's nice too see the blue color coming up in the head.

Here some pic's just taken, don't look at the glas:lolspin:it's dirty.

Luc,
Can you post some pics of the two Personifers? I can't believe how big they have gotten.

Thanks Luc! They are huge! ;)

My Personifer keeps getting the black line in his tail, and than it goes away again...Don't know why. Regardless though, he is doing great!

Cheers!

In time the line will stay i gues, these are great fish but it takes a lot off time before you get them adult.

Ryan,i don't want too go too the tanks limits whit fish,i find bandits great but they are not much seen overhere.

Stil thinking about a second conspic but it is going well now and mayby then i can expext some fighting in the tank. It's difficult.

I keep room for two angels in the future, what do you think about the A griffisi,i can get one very small.

Love it!

why no Bandit angels Luc? They would look incredible in your tank!!!

Hi Jawsee

I have a king angel that has just started to nip at a couple of my LPS. Do the angels in your system seem to not pick on any pitcular corals because of the amount in there?

Any advise? What's the best way to remove a fish in a large system!?

Thanks popeye

Hi Luc, the Apolemichthys griffisi is a great fish in my opinion. A friend of mine got one since last 2-3 years. He's really big now and healthy. He try to find a second one, but there only juvenile on the market. The Arcuatus is amazing too.
You want to add only one or a pair ?
See ya
David

Hi popeye,

Some off the angels nip and like i told before the two hyacinthus corals are favorite, they are the biggest corals and they are slimy when you take them out of the water,i think the angels nip of some off the slime, they don't damage the corals .

For me the best way is still a small trap from plexi that i can put in place whit a mag float.

Best time is the morning when the fish are hungry and the angels are mostly one off the fish come out first.
