Luc I remember you posting somewhere about you feeding Lobster eggs in the mornings? an you tell us more about this? have been trying to find lobster eggs after reading your post but cannot find them anywhere.

Luc, this is the most beautiful and inspiring reef tank I've ever seen.
How long have you been keeping marine aquariums?
Can you give a bit more info about your husbandry and dosing?

It's easy to find here,it's from Ocean Nutrition, sold into frozen blisters.

I feed it almost every morning together whit red plankton and fish egss,it's good for all the fish and the angels are spending a lot of time surching for the small but very tasty food's,so i can keep them busy:p
I will take a pic from the blister and post it later in the week.

Mike, thanks, must be around 10 years now that i am in the reefkeeping hobby.

Husbandry of the system in a shortcut.

every week water change of 180 liters,so in one month around 8% of the total volume,i try to do two times in a year a bigger change, around 1000 liters in 1 change.

Trace elements for the last year is dosing strontium(home made)and from KZ kaliumjodidfluor, coralvitalizer.
Now and then i put some zeozym into the tank from KZ because it clears the water.
Every 3 weeks 1 liter carbon and around 50 mg of ozon,i put a lot off light onto the tank and that cost a lot off money on power so my intention always is too keep my water as clear *** possible too get the maximum of this light for my corals,if the water is only a little yellow you lose a lot of light and offcourse your money;)

I believe furthermore too give a lot of food for the fish(i must because off the angelfish)so you get on a natural way a lot off trace elements into your system.

Hi Luc

Do you test for Strontium?
How do you know how much to put in?
Will the Calcium carbonate (media from reactor) from the Calcium reactor also put the proportionate amount of strontium in?

Thanks

Kevin
