Jays 135g Cube Sps Build!!!!

Well here's the new plumbing guys... I went back 1.5" on drain as far as i could, before it was reduced from the bulkhead. And i changed to a wye tee to help get an equal water in the 2 inlets. And i reduced after wye. Thanks for the advance and for looking.

Nice!! The only thing I don't like about cubes ( mine included ) is the limited space under but your doing a great job utilizing the space

I like that a lot better. Looks like a lot less to worry about this way.

So is it cycling right now? What's the hold up?

wicked nice build Jay! I dont know if Id change anything...except Id go radium instead of reefflux ;-).

Ok guys i can't capture a good quality picture of my aquascape but here goes what i got.

I wanted to give a good amount of open space and still have maximum places for sps.

I still have more sand to be added in spots that need it.

I purchased my material today for canopy, and will update once i make a lil progress.

Hello Jay,
The scape looks nice.
I like that middle "valley" look.
Place corals strategically so that the "valley" is maintained....that would look coool :)

In regards to your plumbing the new design is the ideal. Good job on that.

The canopy came out great, I have the reflector and vho bulbs attached and all the ballasts wired!! I should have it hung tomorrow. :)

With the dt i will be trying out the dr tims bacteria, "BUT" i will be doing a fishless cycle and my main propose is so i can start bombing my dt with pods and get their population up, since i planned on keeping fish with special needs. Also, my daughter "Faith" is due on christmas day, so im in no rush to stock this tank. I will give the tank plenty of time to settle before any fish hits the water.

I've also been setting up a couple qt systems. So i'll be able to give each fish enough time to get treated, start eating well, and get use to me.

As always thanks for looking to anyone who's following!!!
