JBJ 24 Nanocube Lighting to Sunpod MH ?

I have 24 JBJ Nano w/ stock lighting. I want to upgrade to a Sunpod HQI MH, either 70watt or 150.

My main concern is acclimating my Ric Yuma's to such intense lighting. I don't have SPS, all LPS and Softies. I have a feeling if I jump from 72 watt pc's to 150 mh's its just too much intensity for the yumas.

I was thinking going with the 70 watt mh.

Anyone running 70 watt mh on the JBJ ?

I have run both 70w and 150w MH on my JBJ 24g DX. The 70w was modded into my hood and the 150w is a JBJ K-2 Viper HOT. I went with the K-2 first and my corals actually loved it. At first I just kept the light on a lot less (4 - 6 hours for the first week to two weeks and gradually increased it). When I switched to the 70w in the hood, I just kept it on a normal light cycle. I have not experienced any heat problems with either setup either, so if you are going to remove your hood I would definitely suggest the 150w since I think 70w is not quite enough for the 24 without some supplemental lighting.

the price differance between the 70 and 150 is only 20+ $$$..... get the 150. drs foster and smith have a sale going on. i just purchased the 150 yesterday. but i do have to say, they are on B/O...... if you can wait than the savings works out to be free shipping....
