anyone had any problems with the 28 led professional nanocube I am planning on using it for sps corals clams and a couple of stubbie clowns. if so what corals were they so I dont try those ones

What is everyone using to clean their glass?
Thanks
I use a basic razor blade to clean the glass all around. I have a mag-float in the tank but never used it after reading a few posts much earlier in this thread about getting scratches on the glass. Could have been operator error, getting sand between the mag-float and the glass, but I didn't want to take the chance. My wife's AquaCube has several scratches on it and we use a mag-float on that.
The razor blade seems to work very well and I've never scratched the glass using it. It even takes off the really stubborn bright green hard algae dots that grow on the glass. I've tried the plastic scrapers with the long handles, credit cards, mag-floats, algae pads, paper towels, and most anything else I could think of but a razor works best for me and you can get a box of 100 for about $8 bucks.
I'd love to hear what others use as well and what works best for you all.

Actually like 2 Little Fishies Nano scraper. We'll see how it holds up, but its flexible and hardly takes any space inside tank. Used a Nimble Nano for years until he shut it down (needed replacement pads and scrapers). I hear he's open for biz again.

I use some scrap acrylic to scrape back panel of coraline algae. I like the clean dark blue background. Seems to make everything in the tank pop.

Dark blue background? I think mine is black plastic. Did you modify your back panel of your 28 or did they come blue at some point?

6 fish is seriously pushing your bio load. Unless you are running a seriously over rated skimmer and doing regular water changes you might want to re-evaluate that one

Well regarding that I think I'm ok. My tunze skimmer is working very well and I'm doing about 20% WC weekly.
But I'm thinking about getting rid of my firefish. It stays hidden most of the time.

I was wondering for those who have McCosker flashers, how do they do in the smaller tank? I really like them however I know most information suggests a larger tank. I currently have a coral beauty and a pair of onyx clowns, I am thinking of adding a pair of them(I do overskim, I have a bakpak on there).

My McCoskers is doing well, I have had him for about a month and he is definitely a lively and colorful addition to the tank. Will have to see what happens as he gets older and bigger, may need to transfer to a larger tank at some point.

Have a flasher in the 28gallon. Very active and bothers no one. Flashes a lot when swimming around tank. Very colorful and inquisitive. Glad I have a hood though as one day he shot up like a cruise missile and banging into the light cover but didn't seem any worse for the wear.
