JBJ 6g NANO CRACKED>>>

Well at less than 1 week old, my nwe JBJ 6g nano cracked. I was ayay yesterday at the That Fish Place for the big sale looking for some things to stock it with. When I got home this is what i found.

Lucky for me it must have just happened and I got to it with only about 1 gallon making it to the floor. Everything in it went into the sump of my other system for now. So has anyone had this happen with JBJ Nanos? Would you try another?

I would imagine that being only a week old, it has to have some kind of a warranty. I would definately take it back and try another one.

While past versions of the 24g cubes had cracking problems, I had never heard of a 6g cracking. If you send a picture to JBJ they will ship you out a replacement tank or you can just get one from the place you purchased it from. I wouldn't have any worries...

agreed - i would try another one. I have never heard of a 6gal cracking, and cracking where it did doesnt make a whole lot of sense. Looks like it was possibly weakened during shipping.

I've heard of the 6 g's cracking. I just sent back a 12g Nano Cube because the glass was scratched up when i recieved it. Hopefuly the replacement tank will not have this problem .

Thanks for the info folks. I have been in contact with JBJ today and they had me send them photos and a copy of the receipt. As of yet I have not had a responce. Will let you all know how it goes.

did JBJ replace your tank? I am looking at a 6 gallon cube but am a little leary of them.
