I am thinking of getting the JBJ Auto Top Off cause I am tired of topping off my tank everyday. I want to have my reserve RO/DI tank in the basement, which means the water must travel upward about 15 feet to the display. Any recommendations on which pump would be sufficient?
I have that unit attached to a small 10g next to my tank. It took me a while to get it working right because the instructions on how to set it up aren't accurate.
You don't want a pump that's too powerful because it will just be getting turned on and off constantly as is. Something that would end up with a low output at the top would probably be best. Just check the head loss calculator on the RC front page, find out what GPH you need and go from there.
