jbj auto top off question

howdy all,
i was wondering what pumps you guys use with your jbj auto top off. the pump to put the top off what in the tank that is.

I use a Maxijet. I had it laying around.

engine what size maxi jet do you use?

can anyone help with my decision? the ato will only run for 3min max.....will the aqualifter fill fast enough?

I believe the ato's timer can be adjusted to have a 15 minute max. I believe if you look for it on marinedepot.com they have instructions on how to change the minimum delay. An aqualifter moves about 3 gallons an hour, so in 15 minutes it will move about a gallon. You would need to adjust the probes on your ato so that they will cause the ato to only need to fill about a gallon at a time. I've never used ato so I can't say how well they work but based on the way they are described you should be able to make the ato work with almost any sized pump.
