Tank looks fantastic, growth is incredible.

Oh that's much better, I've been trying to figure out how to the bigger version to show up, thanks!

And thank of the tank, yeah it is growing really well. Phosphates are down to .35 but still too high. I ended up using some GFO last week to know them down a bit.

I'd have to say this is one of my favorite tanks now! Amazing how mature it is in just a year. [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

Do you really only have two gyres? Are they the 250s or 280s?

Excellent growth and colouration over the last 13 months. Are you still dosing zinc, manganese and iodine on top of your Triton core elements?

Wow joe growth is insane amazing how quickly it filled in.

Thanks, yeah it really filled in. I'm running out of room!

Thank you, I think the look of maturity is mostly because I don't frag as much as some people. Acros can grow pretty fast.

Yes I am only using two Gyre, they are the 250s. I only run them at 55% anything more and they push the sand around more than I want.

As already mentioned, incredible growth! Tank looks wonderful

Many thanks, compared to where I was the growth has been great.

Wow, how fast the last year's growth has been. That's insane. Beautiful

Right? I didn't really think it was that much till I looked at the picture. :eek2:

Thank you, Yes I am still dosing my Zinc, Manganese and Iodine combo.

Looking great Joe!

Many thanks ksed.

Amazing growth! Since when, you have such high po4? They seem that didn't have any negative effect , at growth and colouration. So why bother lowering them?

While not causing me any real problems, I can't help but think that higher P in the long run is not where I want to be. I'm not rushing to lower it, but just like I correct many of my other parameters if they seem to be drifting, I will correct my phosphates too.

Totally insane, Joe! Just crazy growth. LOVE IT!
Now, get yer fingers out of the frame, I can't see the corals!!
What is that granulosa looking coral hiding behind the frag rack, on the bottom, in the middle. You need to move that baby out into view.. and then take some pictures of it.
.35 p.. really? And n?

It goes to show that trace elements and metals have a more significant impact on Long term growth and esspecially colouration instead of nitrate and phosphate numbers. This thread has motivated me to send my tank water for ICP testing and correct imbalances accordingly.

Thanks Matt. That ganulosa never really colored up well so it just sitting there growing till I figure out what to do with it. I'll take some pictures.

Yeah P is at .35 N is at 5ppm was up around 20 when I figured out I didn't need to dose KNO3 as much.

Beautiful! Being an anthias lover are those Evansi anthias in the beginning of the video? Curious where u purchased and how long you have had them? Sorry if this was covered earlier. Thanks!

Thanks you, they are tuka anthias. I have had them almost a year. Picked them up locally.

Your growth rates are amazing, well done Joe! The whole tank looks very healthy, I'm totally jealous of your success in such a short time span. I know you've worked hard at it and it shows.

Hi Joe,

Coral growth is very impressive.

How do you find your corals' skeletal density? Do they break easily like biscuits or are they like tough cookies?

Thanks
