Really nice build Josh. Are you going to have all your equipment in the stand or will you run drains etc. through that backing wall?
Its plumbed out to the garage. Everything in the garage is temporary for now

The best part of that picture is that it makes it look like there is no complicated equipment necessary ... it doesn't show the true nature![]()
Beautiful setup.
Was there an adjust period, going from the mh to leds?
Some of it was live, some dry.can you post a pic of the rock. I just want to see what color dry rock turns.
Thank you very much! What an amazing set up. Love that it looks like it was part of the wall, the shelves and detail in the wood work really stand out. You dont see any wiring at all. My hats off to you that must have been a lot of work to make it look so good. :bounce3:
Two fixtures should be enough. I used TV/monitor mounts ($30 ones) to mount them. Once I had them where I wanted them I put a screw through the hinges so it would stay.JCR, can you show some close-up photos of how you have those lights mounted? What type of brackets, is it quick detach and/or setup to tilt out of the way, etc. Thanks. Awesome setup. I might be buying two of these fixtures for my newly purchased 48x28x20, you think 2 is enough?
Thanks!That is beautiful tank.
The stand with the two side bookshelves looks amazing as well.
It was purchased from Luke, from reeffiltration. What kind of led fixture is that?
Thank you. New tanks are always fun.Awesome tank and stand, very impressive. Very motivating to keep at my new tank to learn and keeping building. Keeps me motivated!
