As you can see, it's chaos on the other side of the wall (garage). Sump area has the ATB Elegance 200 skimmer, Avast Kalk stirrer hooked up to the Toms aqualifter Pump for auto top from a 35g trash can, ph & temp probe for the Digital Aquatics, 2 PC4 strips mounted under the stand that runs just the pumps & skimmer, Ehiem 1260 return for the 95g & a mag 7 for the 40g (frag/refugium), GFO & Carbon reactor, and live rock for increased filtration from filter feeders.

Well its almost there. Got most of the wiring done and somewhat organized. Also finally hooked up the metal halides. I love the spread of these Hamilton Pendants. For 150 watts, they are bright.
I also got around set up the RKE last night and it ran great for about 12hrs. Then the temp. probe decided to take a crap on me. Quality folks, quality! Guess I'll have to call and see if they replace them under warranty. I also need to run/buy another PC4 for my dosing pumps. So I'll be running (3)PC4's

DIY Float Switch bracket. Works great!
DSC05444.jpg

Hi

Make sure you add more silicon lubricant(plumber's grease) inside the drew doser mine stop working after two years. I would also add override float switch that turns off the feeding pump when water level gets hot high. My lower float valve got stuck after around 4years but override switch prevented a possible disaster by stopping the pump.

Thanks for the heads up. Those pics were taken when I first started the tank. Some changes since then. I actually never ran the doser pumps and sold them off. I mounted them and then decided not to use them. I ended up buying the Avast Kalk stirrer instead. It helps keep my parm. in check. I occasionally need to add a splash of BRS Two-part here and there.
I will probably end up putting a back up float switch in this summer. I currently clean mine every 3 months or so and haven't noticed any sticking (knock on wood).

Reefcentral has been extremely slow these past few days. Its been a pain to do anything on here, let alone upload any pics. Whats been going on?

Looks good!. How are you liking them led fixtures?

Too be honest I'm kind of torn between LEDs & MHs. LEDs are too focused on just one color while MH bulbs put out different colors throughout the color spectrum. Hopefully this year I am able to do something different with my light setup.

Major Problem Here!
So I just changed my RO membrane a couple of weeks ago and it doesn't seem to be working right. My TDS is reading 60+ and my DI is already 3/4 exhausted. I changed the membrane from 100gpd down to 75gpd because our new house has lower water pressure (51), and 75gpd should give me 98% efficiency. I changed all filter, 75gpd membrane, 75gpd flow restrictor, DI resin, and also hooked up a float valve.
RODI system is hooked up after the water softener system and comes in at 313, and is now coming out at 60 which is hooked to my ATO (35g). Any thoughts?

Yeah I know it's been awhile :hmm3: but I finally have a little time to roam through the site :celeb2: Just in-case anyone has this problem, it was the black rubber seal that sets around the membrane that is suppose to force the dirty water through the membrane. It was also making a vibration noise from dirty water passing by the seal not even going through the membrane, and pretty loud if I might add too. It was a brand new membrane which is why I couldn't point my finger at it but Mojo figured it out.

Hate to say my tank isn't looking the best. My time (and patience) has been pretty stretched all spring/summer long. Hopefully I have a chance to get my hands wet again within a week or two as I haven't really done anything with my tank this year. I have to make quiet a few upgrades and changes yet to my system so it can function once again. With winter coming, hopefully I can hibernate and give it some much needed attention.
