Jebao dp-4 reviews

Hey!
I am looking to purchase my first dosing pump for my 120g,and honestly the jebao price can only be attractive.I googled to check reviews and in general they are doing well,but any long term review?because the majority of the reviews posted are only few months after having the unit.

Pretty good units, had one for a year with no issues. Has kept its calibration.

The only negatives I could find about them is that the rubber tubing inside the heads can fail over time so should be periodically replaced.

That is true of most any peristaltic dosing pump.

My buddy has had his for about one year also and never has never had problem with it. I've read and heard that there customer service is top notch also. With that said, I ordered one about two weekend ago. I ordered it from fish street and within four days I had it in my hands. HK to Canada it bad! Gonna set it up today and start dosing vinagar.

We have two sitting here for the big tank and frag tank.

Just trying to get the levels balanced before setting them up.

I've really only read good things about them

That is true of most any peristaltic dosing pump.

Definitely, but I think the Jebao tubing isn't as long lasting as more expensive brands like GHL.

You get what you pay for and I'm OK with replacing 4" of tubing on each head every year or two for the cost of a few bucks.

i am interested to see if anyone has seen any horror stories with this pump?... i have been on the fence about getting one of these or 2 of the brs 1.1ml dosers for calc and alk.

also if i did get a dp-3 or dp-4 where should i buy from? Seems to be some good deals on ebay for them but not sure if there are stores that sell the newest model or not (assuming the ebay ones would be older models) or are they all the same?
