Jebao pumps and Fish-Street

I would just like to share this experience, because it is excellent customer service. Back in the beginning of April I took a chance and bought 2 WP40 because I wanted major flow and will never justify the cost of a vortech. To have them shipped from China was a little steep and took a little longer than I like. For $111 though, I took the chance. I love the pumps and they move A TON of water with wave action. Well two days ago one pump wasn't working right. I emailed Fish-Street last night and without any question had an email saying that a brand new pump would be shipped as soon as I paid shipping and I had a PayPal invoice waiting. As much as I would love to support only American companies, my budget isa little tight. Awesome customer service and a pump with lots of bells and whistles at a decent price makes for a win, win, win.

Hey..it's good to be nice to Japan, they'll own us in a few years anyhow.

How's the noise on those? I've been using Koralias and now that they've redesign the mount they are very quite. I had issues in the past with vibrations on through-glass magnet mounts on very high volume pumps like my 3250GPH Hydor Koralia Mag 8s..but I bought one a few months ago with the new mount and it's dead silent so I was thinking about getting a bunch of EVOs.

I was looking at adding a bunch of those WP40s possibly for slower and more controllable flow but I won't sacrifice noise for $$$.

I have a WP60 on a 180.... I love that pump... The wave action is awesome... The light sensor is cool too.... it was that or an eco tech 60.... I am glad I gave that pump a chance... I am very happy.....

A lot of people say the are silent. My canopy fans are a little noisy and I can't hear them at all. When the fans go off, you can hear the him as it ramps up and down. I have the new beating kids they sent me way back when to make it quieter but never installed them. I'll see how quiet this new one is. Feel free to come give them a listen! :wildone:

I bought the WP40s for my 220 gallon 8ft tank and I also love them. I got em on ebay so I hope they dont crap out on me anytime soon, but I love them.

China...Japan...what's the difference. :)

OK...China has 1.2 billion people more than Japan, but you got my point.

I ordered some electronic stuff from Hong Kong...Free shipping...and got it in about 5 business days. And yet stuff set from CA through the USPS takes over a week.

I'm telling you...start learning chinese.

xie xie

I replaced 2 of my old Tunze 6100's with 2 WP-40s. I have to say the WP-40's are impressive. I primarily use the Wave 1 and the random flow setting and the fish love it. I have never dealt with FishStreet though. Luckily my LFS had been carrying some.

Anyone have the WP-25s running on their tanks?

I am setting up a 120 and have 3 wp 25's and a mp 40.
I got the 40 because I love the look of the ecotech's and the battery back up. Looking forward to see how the wp25's work. I know I have more then I need but wasn't sure if the group buy would work out or not, probably going to keep one of the 25's for a frag tank I am planning to set up. Really interested in their controllable pumps but I want to see how the Mag 12 works first.
