Jebao WP25 Information

I'm surprised that they would be working with Jebao after the fact that Tunze (IIRC) had issues a cease and desist order to any US retailer trying to sell the Jebao pumps.
If Apex is going to be making a branded version of the Jebao pump then they may have some issues with Tunze based on copyright infringement.

Yes, the copyright infringement 'cease and desist order' that was done for nothing more then a scare tactic to hinder sales. It was not actually soemthing that went through and there are both US and CAN retailers selling these still as proof. All it did though was boost sales to Jebao as everyone purchased mass quantities in fear that they would be taken off the market. Just like the false rumors about these pumps not meeting North American safety standards. They were all started by people trying to scare away Jebao customers to hinder sales and keep them purchasing their products.

Where is this proof of Neptune Systems making their own pump based on the jebao's?

...Reading back...nope...I didn't say that they are making their own pump based on Jebao...I typed "Neptune Apex is talking with Jebao for the first Apex pump and over looked Vortec and all other brands over the years."

Not sure if I can post the website here, the article was Signs point to Neptune Systems working on "œApex Pump" by a popular reef building site.

Yeah I read that article and the picture leaves a lot to speculation.

You can even say that the heated argument was over the fact that jebao is in the process of making their own line of reef controllers based on the apex platform and neptune is getting a bit irate over the fact that they can't do anything to the chinese company...

Lets get that rumor going.

Not sure if anyone has tried aiming the pumps upwards to avoid sand getting blown all over the place.
I did this and it works really well for my tank. No need to try and dial the power down. The spread is excellent as well. My WP25 takes care of the entire 30 X 30 footprint...

Good to hear as this is what I was planning on my 60 cube. Thinking two WP25's should be good flow.

I bought 2 x wp25 jaboa's on 2th of june directly from fishstreet.. they have arrived on monday 22th of june.. the boxes of the pumps were soaking wet (falling apart) and the pumps were open in de sending box.. the adapter i couldnt use normally for europe there is a free europian plug with it.. it was NOT in my box i had to buy a travellerplug for all countries.. and both pumps were not working at all....
When i did email to hong kong.. they said I had to return the pumps back to them( shippment for them account) then they would refund me.. but our Belgian post didn't accept that so I had to pay 56$ for shippment again...
The whole shippment was a complete mess of those pumps.

I have order in meanwhile a wp40 now and i am still expecting for arriving.

I have emailed them i rarther prefere two WP25 in replacement because the size of the pumps in a 79 gallons (i don't mean de flowrate) but the size they are smaller for my tank but i don't think they understand why in hong kong.. because i get alsways the reply of the flow.. that wp25 and wp 40 are suitable for my tank... they just don't get it I LIKE the SIZE of a smaller pump... sigh double sigh :sad1: so no i am not very satisfied of all

this is the way my pumps came out of the sending box (sending box xas dry inside and outside no waterdamage at all)

language barriers can be a *****...

It would be too much. Look into the WP10's or just one 25. My tank is a 90 cube. The WP25 is enough so far.

I don't know. I have a WP-10 in my biocube and don't feel two would be adequate for a 60 cube. I'd rather run 2 WP25's at 50% than 2 WP10's or 1 WP25 at 100% or near anyway. Actually thinking of getting 3 so I can rotate one out per month for a good cleaning.

it was sarcasm; as in someone in the factory was probably having a bad day, didn't understand what the request was, and took it out on the return. Yeah, i just realized that the post was last year...:/ i must of hit the wrong number button while looking at this thread.
