Jebao WP25 Information

If it is like the wp40, it isn't a speed controll as much as a frequency control. the nob adjusts how quickly the motor turns off and on. If you want to lower the speed of the pump, you need to use a different voltage output. People have been usinge variable voltage power supplys to adjust that point. I have a single wp40 on my 4x2x2 120g and it can make several different sized waves. I would love to drop one of the 25s on my nano tank.

I am going to send pumps to the following out of state id by fedex group. If you want express shipping, please let me know ASAP.

My Wp25 just arrived. Before I put it in water to test. Here are some physical features and dimension of the pump.

The pump was shipped inside another shipping box and in good shape via UPS

English instruction sheet, nice.

Same controller as WP40 so no speed controller either

Smaller 24V power supply than WP40, smaller pump smaller PS. Makes sense.

Dry side of the magnet

Almost 4 1/2" tall with dry side magnet

Without the dry side magnet 4" inside the tank dimension

Almost 3" in diameter

Dry side magnet with rubber suction cup

Bracket with inside magnet and rubber suction cup

To be continued...

Ceramic shaft and looks like ceramic bearings

Propeller assembly

Overall the build quality is as good as or better than WP40. I will do some video later after I play with it a little bit.

Very Nice Simon. Can't wait to see it in the water.

I have an e-mail out to Wynstan asking about the speed control. It really didn't sound like a communication barrier to me.

Here is a short video of one single WP25 in my 125g tank. It is amazing how much water it moves in a 6 ft tank but it is not enough for a tank this size especially if you want to keep sps. The two MP40 were off. Only the WP25 is on.

I wonder if that bearing on the front is needed... Tunze doesn't seem to need em. Any chance you could try it without the front half of the ball and see what it does? (As long as it doesn't vibrate terribly or anything it would increase the flow to remove it =D)

Simon, thanks for the video and all the other info. And that is one really nice looking tank! I see so many people with fairly new tanks, lots of rock and a few little corals... yours looks very mature and awesome sps corals!

The pumps looks very good. maybe a little under powered for a 125, but you have an great tank and great variety of corals.

Thanks for posting the pics and videos.

i'm ready for mine if it is quiet. i have an mp10, anyone been able to compare the noise level? i would run mine on "else" mode. i don't want to make a wave!

I can only use my imagination now... I came to office after I received the shipment, haven't tested one yet.
