Jebao WP25 Information

Does fish street have these in stock yet? A local forum is trying to put together a big group buy, but were waiting for fish street to get them in

Based on their web site, they did, but sold out already... "22/5 Back Order time increase for 2 weeks now. Order before 23/5, we can send out on June 5. Our 400pcs wp-25 all gone stock now! If Back Order time after 24/5, will delay more time!"

I dont think your gonna find much of a price diffrence even when they hit the us stores. The couple stores in the us that i know that sell them at at 90 + shipping and they dont carry the adjustable power converter

But if you should have a problem (and some people do), I think a local store, or at the very least, a US website, might be a safer bet in terms of customer service. It depends on how bad you want/need one of these. I want 4 of them, but I'm waiting for my favorite seller who is waiting for Jebao to get a couple of production runs under their belt before he will even consider buying them because he offers a warranty. He knows Jebao doesn't care about customer service or distributor support.

To HUNTER1: So it's all a matter of what do you want, not what do we think is best.

So the wp-25s are out now!?

Anyone know if 2 would work well on a 100 gallon 60" long? They look pretty powerful!

Yes they are out know.
SimonSKL posted a very detailed review of the one he got yesterday at post http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=21532026&postcount=548
and http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=21532194&postcount=552

Also MacBoat posted some images of the pump when he got his group Buy shipment http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=21531095&postcount=531

Mine are in Ft. Lauderdale and will have them today.

Here is a short video of the WP25 in my 92g tank which will be the permanent home for the WP25. You can see the size difference with the WP25 on left and WP40 on right. The WP25 is on ELSE mode in full 24V and WP40 in W1 wave mode but on reduced voltage. My plan is to replace the WP40 with another WP25. Then I can put the two WP40s in my 125g tank and sell the two MP40s.:bounce3:

Yeah I think I'll wait awhile until more of them surface in our local stores. I don't really need it, just want a new toy. It sounds kinda crappy when you spend over $100 with no warranty.

Mine came to my office this morning.
I'll put them in and take some video when I get home after the son is in bed.

Here are some pictures really nothing new. Still waiting to here back from Wystan about the speed control he told me would be on these.

If there is anything negative about the WP25 package it is the power supply. WP40 power supply is a 3-prong plug which is safer than the 2-prong plug of the WP25, especially around the tank. The power supply and plug are integrated so it takes up quite a bit of space plugging into an electric outlet or power strip. For these reasons I am using the power supply from the WP40 and the WP25 works just fine. I guess with all the trouble with power cord compatibility for different countries, Jebao decided to go this route with WP25.

Simon. I agree with you about the power supply.

The transformer is incorporated into the plug now instead of a separate brick.
This makes the plug large and may take up extra space on a power stip.

I haven't put mine in the tank and run them yet, but this is the only negative I can see so far.

Not sure if this is allowed or not but if anyone has an extra they want to sell let me know... I can pay now thanks...

Fragtastic reef i think has them on their site and are located in minn. But not sure if he gives a warrenty
I talked to fragtastic reef and no warranty from them. It has to be from jebao, I think I'll order one from fish street and be done with it. With fish street you might get some kind of partial warranty.

Fish street is now sending the pumps out by UPS instead of through the post office which means you get your order within 2-3 days vs 1 week! The only problem is they are completely out of WP25s and everything is back ordered by at least 2 weeks, acccording to their website.
