Jebao WP25 Information

I got a response from jebao this morning about the flow rate of the WP25, but unfortunately they didn't really understand the question so I re-worded and re-sent the e-mail and should hear back this evening or tomorrow morning.

I also asked about what size tank they used in the WP25 demo I posted.

The WP40 is not truly a suction mount. I has a suction cup to get it in place, but then there is a pretty strong magnet that used to hold it in position.

Another way to look at it is the rubber from the suction cup (on both the inner and outer magnets) acts a cushion so the magnets don't slam against the glass.

yes the WP40 has a magnet, but the WP25 has only suction cups. Like 3-4 individual ones like in this picture.

That's a shame I think the suction cup/magnet on the WP40 was a great idea.
I wish they would have stayed with that setup.
I've never seen a suction cup hold for any length of time.

That was an old picture which I don't think is for the WP25.

If you look at the picture Sacohen posted on page 1 of this thread, you would notice the WP25 there doesn't look like the picture above with suction cups.

That's what I thought too.
It's not clear from the picture they sent me (posted on the first page) if it is just a full suction cup or the same suction cup/magnet set up.

I can't quite understand why people want to group buy something costs less than $50. It takes a lot of coordination and much longer turn around time to justify the little savings.

I got some new info!!!

Hi Steve,

The flow rate for WP-25 is about 6000LPH ,the tank size we tested
is 1.2*0.5*0.5m ,and we are adding the function to the controller which
can adjust the speed ,thanks!

That would make the flow rate about 158 GPH (if my conversion is correct)
Tank size for the test was about 80 gallons.

Best thing as far as I can see is they are adding the variable speed to the controller.

Sacohen, this are great specs. 1500gph w speed control for less than $50! Simply incredible.
