Jebao WP25 Information

So the sensor light was flashing with out a sensor in the unit? Yeah I think it's time to contact FS. If they have info that fixes it without replacement please share with the rest of us.

yeah i took it apart and took out the impeller and brushed every part i could and also soaked them in vinegar too. don't ask me why i did this but i also ran them outside water and the new wp25 was making loud noises and fast impeller movement (h1) but the old wp25 is softer and not as fast imepller movement (also h1)

i do love the jebao wp25/40 (big fan) but i seriously hope its just a 1 pump thingy. i cant imagine having to replace them not because they spoilt, but because they simply get too weak.

How do you open these to service them? I also noticed a big power decrease in my first 2 from my last 2.

Mine just arrived today. This thing moves a serious amount of water!

What modes are you guys with square or almost square tanks running mostly? This is my first wavemaker?

My yellow light flashes without a sensor since day one. I also have it on a dimmer, I don't know if that's related.

when I tried a dimmer the yellow light would flash when I had the dimmer turned down to much, after a day though I just took the dimmer back off and have been running it ever sence with no problems.

The reason for the dimmer was that the pump was making the water flow over my 30 rimless. I figured it was the only way to run it.

Do they sell a Y harness to connect 2- WP25's together, so when I hit feed mode they both shut down?

Also I need a longer cable, my 180 is 6' long, and my 25 can't reach my Apex on the other side where the other 25 is

No they do not sell a Y-Harness to connect 2 Jebao pumps together.
If you did that each pump would be running at 50% power.

If you are connecting them to your Apex why don't you have the Apex turn them both off at the same time?

Also if you are going to connect them to the Apex you would need the Jebao cable from Reef Angel and when you cut the header cable off and replace it with the RJ-45 end you can extend that as long as you need.

A supposed Jaebo rep posted they would be coming out with a controller that I'd designed to control two pumps a few weeks ago.

You sure about that? Would not the controls signal just be drawing twice the current from the controller (assuming that doesn't burn it out) pumps would still draw the same voltage both 24v power and 5v signal, just twice the current (wired in parallel with a Y-cable).

It should work if it doesn't burn something out. Certainly there is a way to make it do-able.

As long as the PCB components and power supply can handle the current, theoretically yeah.

I just heard Jebao is coming out with a WP-10 and WP-60. should be available soon and a controller is available from another company that allows you to control up to 4 pumps together.
