Jebao WP25 Information

Just ordered a WP25 for my 70G tall which is 3' wide. Will this single pump be enough or should I leave it turned down to prevent splashing and also use my Koralia?

Any updates on a possible MP10? I could use one in my 30G rimless.

Ordered one of the 25 today! Hopefully it doesn't take too long from china.

why are you ordering it from china? jabeo on ebay will have it to you in almost a day for 5$ more and a year warrenty. i already used my warrenty and i had no issues with them. That reminds me, i gotta send the old unit back.

I paid like $5 extra from a eBay vendor and got it in two days.

+2 lol. jabeo on ebay FTW

Just transferred everything into my 24x24x14 35g and running the wp25 on the back wall under a ac70. On its lowest setting s3/w1 it's perfect. Also have a koralia nano 240 pointed at it from the opposite corner to mix things up a little. So far so good and when I get my 115g up and running it should work for the and hopefully by then I can link them and get a wp10 for the 35g.

So one of my 25s died last week. I'm not sure what happened. First, I noticed the controller was off. I believe I knocked the plug a bit loose when I was messing with my outlets. Got it plugged back in and the pump wouldn't turn on. Opened it up to look and can't even get it push started. Tried different power supplies and different controllers (I have a few). No go. Not really sure what else to try, but I'm ordering another one.

I would go with the WP-40 due to the wider flow. I have 2 WP-25s on a 40g breeder frag tank, and do not like how narrow the flow is compared to my WP-40s.

how were you going to build it? i would love a less powerful wp25. i had to pull it out of my nc28 because it was too much flow. ideally the wp10 would have a smaller form factor as well.

I don't have details because I never designed it, but all you need is a 24v source with enough current to power X number of pumps along with a control signal for each and an IC to run the program, probably an ATmega328.

I mentioned that one of my WP25 died, so I have been running a single one on else mode for the last 2 weeks or so. The funny thing is, that one is seemingly perfect for my 105. I'm having doubts about running the second one again, everything is doing great right now.

Where in your tank did you place the 25? I just got one for my 90g and placed it on the end panel in the middle aimed across and slightly up. I realize everyone's aquascape is different, but just wondering where you ended up with just 1? Thanks!

That's basically where I have it. I had one on each side, one on W1 and one on Else. I may go back to this, but it did leave me with one on center panel pointing long ways in the tank. It's a 48x24x21 tank.

Just bought one of these and initially quite impressed. I worry a little about the pump 'shaking' itself out of the holder - which is a bit flimsy, and doesn't clamp the pump all that tightly - but it does move a lot of water. OK, it's not a vortech in terms of build quality or features, but it also isn't vortech priced either. Will see how the 25 holds up over time, but for now it works well.
