Jebao WP25 Information

Do you all think the wp40 would be too much power for a standard 55 gallon?

Yes....on my 90 it took me some playing around to not blow too many things out of the tank. That being said WP40 works great in my tank at full power...Other than my tang getting sucked into it ugh!

No thanks to the suction... I would rather spend a lil extra and get a magnet so I don't have to worry about the suctions cups detaching randomly like they all do

i think plenty of WP-25s with the magnet mount will sell at $90 because keep in mind that people with say a 20 long tank aren't going to be like "I may as well get the WP40 since its the same price". I am considering buying one of these so i can hook the WP40 up to the timers on my halides and run the WP25 in anti-sync with the WP40 so i can have calmer water at night even though by the looks of that video it wont be all that calm still.

i've got a 20 long that is waiting for something like this. the price of an mp10 isnt bad but it all adds up in the end. any where i can save money to put into something else is always a plus.

Perhaps this question is redundant but is the 25 have a rating for tank size? I have a mp10 in a 28 nanocube. Is the 25 comparable or to much compared to the mp10 which I run at lagoon and 60% max?

Everything we know about the WP20 or 25 is rumor or hearsay at best. Many of us are waiting to see the real thing go up for sale! :fun5:

That's the way everything works.
I remember when the first truly personal Computer's came out they were expensive, then E-Machines put out a halfway decent system for much less than anyone else. Now all Windows based machines have significantly much less expensive.

Apple is a different story. Apple as opposed to Windows PC's Apple make the hardware and software and they don't licences it to anyone else so there is no competition for a MAC computer.

As an engineer in the PC industry, I wasn't aware Apple made Intel, Nvidia, or Samsung components.

Why not? The whole idea here is to save money, isn't it? It's already less than 1/4th the price of the next guy that makes something similar.

I couldn't have said it better myself. If the wp20/25 has a power control as well as the timer control, I'd be willing to pay more than what they charge for the current wp40! I still want 5 of them! :headwally:

That's not the point. I personally need to replace the powerhead in my BC29. All I really need is a $30 power head. I could go for an upgrade at $50 or $60, but $100 is just too much of a stretch. If I were actually looking at a high dollar powerhead, then it would be a steal. But I'm not.

^^ that makes no sense to me. Why not just buy the $30 koralia? You can be frugal on somethings but expecting to pay koralia prices for these is rediculous. These are a total different animal than a normal powerhead. That "stretch" would be one of the best things you can do for your coral other than husbandry and light..just sayin.

That's just my opinion though I don't see why some people aren't realizing the only difference between the two is the amount of plastic and size of magnets. It still has everything the WP40 has just in a smaller package. I have 2 WP40's and love them and don't care if they don't last 10 years I'll just buy some more. As long as it doesn't fry the tank an just craps out in a year or two I'm good with that.

Because if I could get something better for a little more, then I would. Just not willing to go up to $100 for it. I don't need it that bad.

are you thinking with your experience with the 40 that the 25 will not be to much for a 29 biocube?
