Jebao WP25 Information

Thanks for nice compliments. The tank is 13 month old. I started this tank last April.

The Wp25 is really quiet. Even quieter than the WP40 when I tested in this tank in March. Early in the video you can see the size comparison between WP25 and the MP40. There is a lot of water movement at the top 1/3 of the tank but not enough near the bottom. I think for a 90g or less tank, the WP25 will be perfect. The mode that I used in the video is W1 mode with the knob at about 1p position.

The plastic used in the housing of the WP25 seems to be beefier as you can see in the picture. Everything seems to have a solid feel to it. Definitely a good value for the price.

I dropped all items at Fedex for the above ID, you should already get a email from me with your tracking number. Let us know how they are doing in your tank! :smurf:

I didn't even see this in the other thread earlier. Ha. Pleasant surprise. Now I'm excited.

3 foot 57 gallon... am running and mp10 on reef crest at 100% and a koralia 550 and my return is probably adding 400 gph... think one would replace all that?

I hope not. I got 2 for my 55.
Mainly Softies, but I want to start getting into LPS.
There are not to many SPS that I like.

It looks like one should be enough for a 55. Look at the video Simon put up of it on his 125. I plan on putting two on my 90gal. with a 700 gph. Return.

Here is a video running in ELSE mode. I turned off all power pumps except the return pump in the first part of the video to show the difference between no pumps and one WP25 in ELSE. Still pretty impressive and so quiet!

I was wrong. It still moves a good bit of water in a 125.
I think 2 may be to much for a 55, but I'm going to put them on opposite sides of the tank in anti-sync mode.

I ordered one to replace a tunze 6025 in my 20 gallon.... Maybe it's time to go bare bottom, seems like this is going to be a lot of flow

Fish street is selling them now for $70 and the adjustable power adapter for $10 and. $32 shipping from hongkong. Total $112. Is that good or should I wait for U.S stores to get them?

I dont think your gonna find much of a price diffrence even when they hit the us stores. The couple stores in the us that i know that sell them at at 90 + shipping and they dont carry the adjustable power converter

If I order from fish street, the unit still ship from hongkong but fish street will take care of the warranty?

If fishstreet gives a warrenty on the pump then i would guess they would fix the problem.

I ordered mine with a gb so we dont have any warranty as we ordered straight from the factory.

If there are defects, I can get replacement. It is just technically difficult for 1 or 2, the shipping will cost more than the pump itself. Lets see what happens when big shipment came in.
