Jebao WP25 Information

Yeah the LED dimmer I got off E-Bay worked perfectly too.
I've heard 2 or 3 people with problems with the ones from FS.
May have just been a select few, but I haven't really heard anyone say anything good about them either

A LFS by me has both the 25 and the 40 in stock.. $70&$80..reef angel also sells with the cable to hook up to your controller.. Looks like I'm getting a 25 also lol..

So for my 55 should I get a wp40 or pre order the wp25??

I like to have flow from both sides so I always like a min. of 2 pumps but for a 55 gal. just 1 wp25 will be enough 2 would be better IMO though but you would have to turn them down. if you got 1 wp40 you deff would have to turn it down.

Are there any group buys going on right now? If not is anyone else interested? I contacted Jaebo and got the info to do another one.

Definitely interested in the group buy if the price is good enough. I just cant decide if a single wp25 would be adequate flow for my 55 gallon. I'd ideally like for it to be the only ppowerhead in the tank. If I MUST I'll use a stationary koralia 1050 on the opposite end.

That's my plan when my 25 gets here. I have a 75 rimless and will have the 25 on one end a koralia on the other. Will see how it works.

I got mine today from FS but with the old controller, so am a bit hesitant if I should try it out in my 60-something gallon tank or wait for my LED dimmer to arrive...

Just tried it out - it's not a bad pump! But in my 32'' long office tank I don't think I need to dial it down on W1 at all but rather that I need to supplement it with another pump...

I didn't manage to get a wave going on any setting apart from W1, but W2 and W3 stirred up more sand.

There is a group buy on the Sacramento group . Just saw wp-40 today at the LfS and dang it's huge ! But the worker was like there not going to last long they just got them until they get the MP-60.

I just got mine, the controller has a dial knob, not sure if that's the adjustale controller. I'll try it on my 20g high.

No that is the wave length adjustment.
Do you have 3 buttons that say S1, S2 and S3?

Those are the speed control.

U tried ELSE mode? It seems stronger than the wave modes

It doesn't, but the knob seems to control the speed. It also has a mode button, haven't tried it yet. Is this the new controller?

New controller with speed built in:

This is what a new controller looks like with speed control. It seems by pushing the speed button you cycle thru the various speeds (S1, S2, S3) indicated by the corresponding LED light. I just need someone to confirm if it is true. Also can the various speed be incorporated into different modes? I also don't understand the differences between H1, H2, H3 and S1, S2, and S3. Are H1, H2, and H3 3 different modes and S1, S2, and S3 3 different speeds or are there all together 6 different speeds?
