Jebao WP25 Information

not sure if this happened to anyone else. one my wp25 came with a power supply that said ecotech and it looks like the power supply from my mp10. the other wp25 power supply looks like a generic wall wart.

Can you show us a picture of the "echotech" power supply?

I guess a GB could be setup to get them from FS if there was not enough volume to go directly to Jebao, but i have gotten 2 pumps from 2 different GB's and they were both directly from Jebao.

Normally no warranty through GB. If it was through FS, maybe, because they've been pretty good about warranties from what I've heard.

Jimmy;

Is that a shot of the PS that came with your Jebao?

That looks like the original ones from the WP-40's, I'll have to try to get to mine tonight and see what it says on it.

In manufacturing when a product doesn't meet the required spec, it has to go somewhere. Sometimes the components are sold, sometimes they are dissembled and recycled as much as possible for the materials and sometimes they are sold off in bulk and re-sold by another company where the specs are not as exacting.

Seeing an Ecotech label isn't surprising, it could have said HP, Toshiba or any other product using a switching power supply. Normally that label would have removed and replaced with another. That one appears to have slipped through the cracks.

how often do you have to clean these?

Im debating between 2 WP25 or 1 MP40 for my 57G

36" X 20" x 18.

I have a MP10Wes right now. Should I just combine one WP25 with it instead?
