I killed ALL that Coral!
Hi folks,

First I think This should be an assembly thread more than a build thread since I picked up a good setup from a good reefer. Here goes....

Cut big hole in carpet, watch wife freak a little bit....

Put stand in hole, wife will start to settle down

My brother in law is a pretty talented finish carpenter. He will be building a full three sided stand surround and canopy. He needed me to add a piece of wood at the top and bottom for the skins to attach to.

This worked out, I siliconed the edges too. It is certainly not a water tight catch basin, but it is a "oh #%^*" grab a towel basin :)

Next added a rope light for ambiance

Pretty sure I got the dribbling sump bulkhead handled. Added a valve and fitting that my garden hose will screw onto. Should make water changes easier, just screw on hose, roll hose out the back door and open valve.

Sump is full and soaking for the night. I want to make sure there are no puddles in the morning. Next is sand and saltwater!

That's a good idea for the drain. Could you use a discharge hose? The ones I'm thinking of flatten out for easy storage. I don't think they handle turns very well though.
