Jelly fish looking things?

So far I've counted 4 of these small bell shaped clear I guessing jelly fish on the front glass, they look to have 10 tenticals. Can anyone tell me what these are? I only have 2 pieces of live rock that I'm using to seed some base rock with.

I looked on yahoo under hydroids and didn't see anything like them. I'll try and get a pic tonight. More info- when brushed off the front they do swim with a pulsing action around the the tank till they find a place to settle. Are hydroids a bad thing?

They can only be a bad thing if you start seeing a load of them, in some cases people have a lot of them, i had some a few months into the hobby, than they slowly died down, now i don't see any, guess they come and go.

sounds like they're hydroids to me too. if you google or yahoo them a bunch of other random stuff comes up. but don't worry, they're not bad

they are call hydriods jellyfish.. harmless and will go away by itself

Just amazed at the amount of stuff coming from 2 softball pieces of live rock with only coralline algae visible!! and no other visible hitch hickers and it's been in my tank only 3 weeks.
