Jellyfish Aquarium?

I've been doing some research about jelly fish tanks and I'm curious to know if anyone here has any experience with them. I've seen the jellyfish art tanks, but to me these seem really over simplified. Another brand that I've seen is cubic aquariums, which seem pretty nice. These 6-8 gallon tanks seem like they would be really hard to keep stable, especially with limited filtration. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

Best suggestion is to avoid it unless you are a really advanced hobbyist with very deep pockets. I've kept Jellyfish for years and they are about the most difficult of any marine species that I have ever kept. They need a very stable system, specialized food and a very specialized system. Those cheap jellyfish tanks are nothing more than gimmicks that will NOT keep jellyfish alive for any length of time. Not only that but the people that sell those tanks can't even supply the jellyfish because they are really hard to come by. Anybody who says otherwise is either trying to sell you one or has little to no experience. Not only that but Jellyfish are very expensive, hard to come by (as mentioned) and have a very short life cycle (months at most). Lastly, a proper jellyfish kriesel will cost you thousands and needs consistent temps and proper flow that not only suspends the jellyfish and keeps them away from the sides of the tank but also suspends the food. I have a very good friend who owns patents on jellyfish tank designs and have seen my share of success and failures. Unless you like p!ss!ng money in the wind, then I would suggest you stick with reef and regular fish.

FWIW, this is my jellyfish tank at my office. Right now due to a lack of moon jellyfish availability as well as difficulty in keeping them alive for any length of time it has fish in it.

;) I picked up Cubic Orbit 20 @ MACNA... Filled w/change water from my 30g.... As instructed, and got 2 moons ,a week later (last Friday). Have some dry food and am feeding 1 x day. So far they are alive and pulsing. Well see how long I can keep this up. Looks real nice, but if they dont survive too long I can see it getting expensive for sure.

Space :)

Have a jelly flap aquarium. Found cheap on Craigslist for like $50.
Has no jellies yet but was mainly wondering on how they react on top offs.
