I won't give Jeremy baller status until he can *laser cut* his drywall with just a staredown :D

zzzzzzzzzz....zzzzzzzzzz....

Ahhhh....the smell of burnt sheetrock in the evening. You better watch it T, distance is not an issue with lasers!

I would wait until you get your sump to make your decision. I would say either #1 or #2 depending on how it fits once all of your goodies are in there. Don't limit your space unless you have to.

So Mark, you think that Wahoo was big enough?

I did say that it was MASSIVE. Maybe I will just get a Velocity T4. No, Red Dragon. Wait, with what $? Ah hell.

Anyhow, I picked up some acrylic tubes and a sheet of smoked acrylic from Rafael last night. These will eventually be silencers for my and Marks H&S skimmers.

Still need to pick up some weld-on an acrylic tubing for the air in/output and the support that will sit in the current air bracket on the skimmer body.

are you going to paint those silencers red? ;) :D

Nah. I'm an innovator, not an imitator!

OK, it seems I need to get some 1" T's in order to continue on the return lines. Another run tomorrow. Also need to get some 1 1/2" flex tubing. I must say, flex tubing is sooooo much easier to deal with than PVC. No contest.
Now, since working on the 1" lines was out, I decided to start the hole through the wall. Look what I found:

Tankbuild033.jpg

The electrical wire, running smack dab through the middle, at 24", even though the outlet on the other side of the wall is at 16". Shouldn't really matter much, as I can thread the pipes around it, but still, that shouldn't bee there!:mad2:
Also notice the OSB board that is behind the sheetrock in the house. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to cut through that, as everyone is asleep.

You can see where the hole came through in the garage. I've got an 11' run to the fuge setup.

I should at least be able to finish up the CL drain line out to the Sequence 5800 in the garage, and run it back into the house. Then I'll have to make the final decision about the placement of the OM 4 way. If all goes well, I'll get the CL returns finished up as well, but will need to wait for my sump in order to finish the system return lines. I'll need to get the 1.5" line in order to do the fuge drain and skimmer drain lines. Shooting for a leak test over the weekend.

Oh yeah. You might want to talk to Brian P. i know he bought about 30' of 1 1/2 flex PVC off keith that same day you stole mine:D

he bought it for dirt cheap. He probably doesnt need 30', it was just 1 huge roll

I need a bunch of it, and if everything else is grey, why not make it match. Already placed an order for a 50' roll.

As for the 1" flex that I got from Keith, I never used it. I had planned to run the chillers on the garage system outside, but decided it wasn't gonna be around long enough to bother. Come on by and get some. I paid Keith $30 for the lot.

Holy smokers $30 for it all. That is insane. But that is what Brian Paid fo rthe 1 1/2 also.

I need to get that Bird netting also. I was just kinda waiting to see what was going to happen with that order to bza.

I agree Grey looks nice. You go through Savko, They have great prices on flex PVC

I got an email from Mike at BZ today about the credit for the Orange Shoulder that didn't make it. All I know is that he has me on a list for an OST, Maculiceps, and the Radiant. Whenever he has all 3 ready to go, he'll let me know.
If you want the netting and flex sooner, come on by.

I ordered the flex through FlexPVC.com

Cool,

Are you using this PVC glue for the flex or something else?

http://www.savko.com/PartList.asp?pgid=8&ptid=27&pid=137

I have in the past, but it was recommended to me to use Weld-on PVC 2711, which is a heavy body grey cement which would fill the gaps better. Plus the heavier cement makes it much easier to slide the pipes together without it setting prematurely. It takes a little longer to set, but it's not like I'm putting water in this thing right afterward.:(

I noticed in the FAQ's on flexpvc.com's site they specifically say not to use the gray cement. I don't know if they are referring to the weld on though.

Dang it. Now you got me wanting to use grey flex. Wish you could get smaller qty like at savko. Didnt see any grey at savko or even black
