I think it goes back to an older thread about a guy in Montgomery named Jim who owns a LFS. Some people didn't like him for one reason or other and were fairly outspoken about it. Then someone claimed that a new poster was actually Jim himself posing as somebody else.

I think that's pretty close. Let the record show that I don't know Jim, have never seen Jim, don't have anything against Jim, and I'm not Jim.

The intrigue is killing me. Better than an episode of Monk, only slightly zanier.
The way I've got it figured, Omega is afraid that his cover is blown and the CIA hit men are gonna roll up in front of his apartment any minute... as a last ditch effort to save his Greek alphabet neck, he apologizes in a public forum to the guy who took out the hit on him, hoping that he'll call off the dogs.
Harry, on the other hand, has mistaken Omega for the guy who called him an ugly troll in the Walmart parking lot last week.
