Hey CMAS,

First time in a while I have posted a FTS on this forum but wanted to share my 140 gallon softie/ LPS slice of the ocean! I have lots of other pics from the same day of each fish and coral if there's an interest. It's great to have a piece of the tropics in the living room when it's below zero outside!
Take care,
JIM

That sir is a nice tank, and one Giant Leather in the corner haha.. :D

Same questions as the other guy, how long has it been setup and what lighting you using? New School led's or Old school setup?

Thanks for the kind words. Here are some more pics and details:

The tank is about 7 years old, at least this current tank. Over the past 20 years I have upgraded from a 55-75-90-current 140. Lighting on the tank has also been an adventure, I have gone from metal halides to 4 aqua illumination LED's to where I am today- 8 bulb t5 dimmable ATI fixture. I have posted a lot about my adventures with lighting if you want to click my previous posts. I love the dimmable t5's though and love programming 14 different looks over the course of the day.

Livestock:
Corals: all softie and LPS
Fish:
Wrasse (linneatus, mystery, candy hog, solaris, china pearl)
3 clowns (1 Picasso, 2 fudge)
tangs (chevron, purple)
royal gramma
midas blenny
lantern basslet
2 bangaii cardinals
starkki damsel
dwarf golden moray eel
flame angel

Inverts:
coral banded shrimp
anemone crabs
starfish (marble tile, red linkia, fromia)

Here are some of my other pics:

I attempt to do a 20 gallon water change every two weeks. I don't run any GFO or carbon currently, but that's mainly because the pump burnt out, not sure it was helping much anyway. I also have a sump with a refugium and reef octopus skimmer (which I struggle dialing in so it is half working). I have two dosing pumps from brs dosing soda ash and calcium. I have never paid attention to magnesium- don't have an inch of room to dose mag in the cabinet. Lastly, I have an autotop off on another BRS pump.
Thanks,
JIM

I am still trying to absorb the arrangement of your corals. Each one looks perfectly placed. Good inspiration as I am just starting my new cube build. Thank you for sharing.

Here is my tank 1 year ago, before I lost all of my SPS and 8 clams. One of my favorite "times" for my tank! Huge crash without any measurable cause. I will never buy SPS again though because of this.... Still miss my clams!
