I have tank that I run BB, its called my QT tank I am sure I will go BB one day, but visually, it just looks like something is missing.

So Sang, Your telling me if tuze came out with a better looking product, you would stick with your vortech.

Sometimes its better to stick with the tried and tested instead of regretting the switch later on

I like my vortech's, but I am getting to swap out one of my nano's with a 6100. Jim picked up the other one this morning.

I do really like my vortechs though.

One day I might try something other than my H&S, but it will definitely be a product that has been tested. I remember the big hype about when eric brought in the cone shaped skimmers. In the next three weeks, I started seeing them in the classified

There was nothing done to make things faster yet. They were just prepping the site for future changes to vBulletin.

Added the third 6100 so I was able to get all my wires cleaned up a bit :bum: :bum:

Got a few more things I want to do, but my girlfriend comes in town next Sunday. Probably gonna be laying low for a week or two, then its time to stock some corals

Very clean stand - nice and neat, though it does look like your filter sock is about to burst and needs to be cleaned

Lay low for a couple of weeks? You're gonna come back to a split thread

Yeah, I run my carbon in a bag that I place in the filter sock. It eliminates another reactor, and its much easier to clean.

I didn't wash the new carbon very well and it has turned my filter sock black :lol:

I'll swap it out after dinner. Gotta go meet the folks for some grub
