Jim- I know I am headed to YR, but I might hit AL first. Its been awhile since I've made the trek. LMK when you are coming thru. You are always welcome in my casa ;)

Mike, Isn't the mirabalis an underated piece? Mine loves high light. I have heard that it helps to feed it rotifers to keep the green.

Thanks Mike! I'll spend some time reading through it. I actually love the idea, but need to come up with a practicle yet clean way to employ it on my system.

AL always has great fish. Davey was telling me that they have an 8"-9" achilles tang out there :eek2:

Mark, The mirabilis is awesome and definitely an underrated coral. I have mine right under the light and it has some green, but not as much as Ming's picture does. There is a local guy that farms rotifers. I'll have to pick some up from him and see if it makes any difference.

Alright, I got my fans and grills in...but have to wait for the mounting hardware for one of my LA mini's to come from phishy business. They didn't include it on the original shipment. Hopefully, they're here by Sat :)

If its not, I'll just roll up to OSH.

Are you going to run a center brace or something to prevent sagging in the center of the canopy?
 
Sup bro? How was AL and YR?

In the rear of the canopy, I used a 2x4 across to brace it, and I plan to brace the opening portion when I mount the lights. I'm thinking I will use something thinner, but have to wait and see how the lights fit in.

The LFS's were cool. AL had a nice magnificent, go figure. Oh well, I did end up getting a few corals with my order as well.

Yeah, back in high school all my friends called me jimdog, so thats where the name originated. I added the 187 because I'm murderous :lol:

Terry, the S in my new handle is for my last name "Sotelo". I tried to get just "Jim" when I changed my handle but some dude who registered in like 02' and never posts anymore beat me to it!!

Davey, you're right. When I'm not around you for some reason my decision making becomes more effective :lmao:
