Whenever I finally move and start my 250, I'll be sure to delay posting so I've always got some ammo lying around to feed the wolves!

:D I may need a larger skimmer with the add'l tanks, larger fuge, etc that'll be plumbed in, and the ATB's look sweet! I'll need to check out Jim's when he gets it.

ok more nonsense over here :D. so tbone is it true you finally got a new home, nice kitchen and AGE made you come out the closet since 2003 :celeb1:

I say we go over Jim's house this weekend and set it up ourselfs, if we wait for him, it will be months before the tank sees any water

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I don't even have all the stuff I need to get it set up :(

I still need all the fittings, BH's, background and RO/DI. All of which will be in next week. After that, I'll do a freshwater leak test, then I have to fill it with RO/DI which will take at least a few days. Patience my friends. Patience. I want this system to be as perfect as I can get it :)

Edit:

BTW, anyone who would like to bring over an extra RO/DI to help expedite the process would be greatly appreciated :D

That tank is probably going to get pushed back for a bit. We've had some really windy days the last two weeks and I've lost a big portion of my fence last night. It's not repairable. :(

Rafael, thats a great idea, but he's actually just gonna let me borrow his RO/DI next week so I can get two running.

Mike, thats cool. I completely understand. There are always set back in life. Its best to wait until you know the time is right!

I may or may not take a few days off next week. We'll see. But today I wiped down the tank and got all the factory oils and such off.

More to come!

:D
Jim, do you want a container to hold some water in, ie a 44g brute on wheels? I also have a 50g drum that I could free up.

jt, thanks! I have a 45 gallon brute and a 100 gallon stock tank, so as far as water making storage, I'm good to go.

Mark, I may take you up on your stock tank offer though, for holding some fish. I'm still trying to work on my plan of how I'm gonna do the transfer, and having two stock tanks may help.

I know for sure that I will need to keep my sohal tang out of the new set up for at least a week. That way my purple tang can establish dominance again, and the sohal won't be the top dog right off the bat.

To be honest, I've never seen a fish grow as quickly as this sohal has. It is turning into a beast!
