Jim why not just order RC from Fosters and Smith for $32.00? I order six buckets at a time and I pay a whopping $18.00 to ship it all. Order three and pay $15.00. Can't beat it. Calcium is a little low for my taste at 380, but everything else is good. I just toss three teaspoons of calcium from bulkreefsupply in every 40g I mix up and it takes it to 435.
Anyone that smiles for their mug shot is cool in my book.

I will probably start to oder salt online, but time is of the essence at this point and buying it the store was cheaper than getting it overnighted.
As far as mixing goes, I'm trying to copy a couple of locals that have AWESOME tanks. If it doesn't work out for me, or I find a different method down the road, I'll make the switch back to just one. I'm just testing for now

I do not know the benefits of mixing salt, but I have mixed salts before and I will continue to mix salts for the next 6 months; 6 months mixing, 3 months not. Different salt mixed are higher in some elemantal compostion and trace elements than others, so by mixing them, I am hoping that its a batter balance.
