Gotcha. That's a good move. Small fish? Have you come up with a stocking list? wrasses, anthias?

Not sure everything,

but so far I'm gonna get 3-4 more lyre tail anthais, a pair of lineatus wrasses and a 5-7 chromis.

We'll see though :)

JT,

I was running the same panworld 100px-x. What are you thinking of using?

Not sure yet how I want to rig the system up. Gonna go internal and forgo popping a hole in my sump. It's seen better days, and I don't wanna go there. Not sure on how much flow those drains can handle. I'd like to use an OR 6500, but that'd be pushing them to their limits. I may go something along the lines of the OR 3500 and just beef up the flow inside the tank.
I think I'll try the 6500, and just dial it down if need be. Gonna pick up another lumenarc for it tomorrow, and go pick up some lumber to build the stand. I'm exited. My wife, not so much!:D

Well, I'm gonna be headed out your way to drop off your RODI and such. I'll give you a call in a bit :)

Jeremy, I have a couple mags laying around, a 9.5 and a 5; I think.

I was coming over to this thread to see where you were headed today Jim. I am expecting visitors around 1-2 today, but I was thinking about makind a run to exotic this am. See you guys later.

Hey, Jim, how did you mount/plumb in your manifold up under the tank? It's hard to see in the pics you've posted. Can you snap a shot looking up under at the manifold and post? Also how many devices are you running off the manifold? it seems like your 2 reactors, plus calcium reactor, plus return from sump?

bbehring,

I run 2 reactors, and one spare for acclimating, feeding (instead of dipping the cup in the tank), and hosing down the sump. The 4th is for my future ca RX. They are all run from the return.

Mark, I think I'm heading out to YR. I'll call you before I go..

Thanks guys!!

It takes a little extra time to get the plumbing done clean, but I think its worth it :D

Gotta do all my cords now.....

Jim, Things are looking sweet (and familiar). I do like the idea of an acclimation bv, but I guess I will still have to do it the old fashioned way :(

Here ya go Davey
Odontanthias borbonius :)

It was too bad that AL was there bidding in the auction for pieces that was set up for hobbyist and club members. I was pretty dissapointed about that. It's nothing against the guys who were there as they are great people, but I lost a lot of respect for the owners. :sad2:
