yeah i thought $120 was steep then i just saw it was on sale at liveaquaria for $250 so i guess $120 is a real good price

It was too bad that AL was there bidding in the auction for pieces that was set up for hobbyist and club members. I was pretty dissapointed about that. It's nothing against the guys who were there as they are great people, but I lost a lot of respect for the owners. :sad2:

I don't think Al guys knew it was for hobbyist only, i could be wrong but i didn't even really know. Kyle early in the week told me they were going and i thought nothing of it.

Think they are just trying to get in better pieces. Matt said they only picked up 2, so i guess thats kinda good
 
Yeah, still too rich for my blood, but a great deal, relatively speaking. I think they're having a hard time moving them at the $400 price.
 
I know, it was presented by MARS, a club for hobbyist. I have nothing against either Kyle or Matt, but they had one others, but when it was clearly obvious that they were not going in their personal tanks, some feelings got hurt.

I understand that the aquarium business is cutthroat, but evryone one of those pieces can be found locally and local farmers would be happy to support the LFS by trading in pieces for store credit.

If is was you and you were bidding against a LFS's money, how would you of looked at it?

Fish is looking great. I went to exotic and picked up a rosy scale wrasse too :D

I'm heading back next week to get some female lyretails, so hopefully they get a new hcw in for you!

Canopy is on the tank, so I'll snap some shots :)

Jt me too! I wish I had a collection like yours :D

I picked up 20 #'s of some cool shapes from YR today. I actually traded in a lot of LR. I got 10 chromis some new lockline and the LR.

I also picked up the rosy scale out at Exotic. They have 3 SICK achilles tangs! Small too. I'm not gonna test my luck though. I have enough tangs :D
 
Sweet Jim, Nice pick up. I would of joined you, but I was still trying to pick up after my visitors left.
