Well guys, after several years out, I had to get back in! So here is what I decided on. I chose to go with a Innovative Marine 10G All in One System with a 14G Biocube shelf. Fits perfect! I bought this at the LCS because they gave me a great deal and I like supporting them.

I believe I'll be ordering the Kessil A160 w/ gooseneck.

I havent begun to research skimmers yet that will fit, but thats in the plans over the next couple of days. I may see if I can run some type of fuge in the rear. My wife and I just got building our new house and she's allowing me to put this in the living room, so it has to be very clean looking.

My immediate plans are just to take my time and create a nice piece of art with rock work and get the cycling going. The first couple of months will likely just be 2 clowns and a clean up crew. Long term, I plan to run coral (hence the Kessil).

I still haven't decide if I'm going to with an upgraded pump for a MP10. I also would like to go with a Reefkeeper Elite. Any suggestions are welcomed!

I should have sand and rock in this weekend I'm hoping!

I have the exact same setup with the nano light, this is an awesome tank, also the ghost skimmer is very good for this tank.

Big day today as far as initial progress guys! Got my package from Bulk Reef Supply..... :D

I have another package with my salt, heater and nano mount on the way from Marine Depot. I also got an email from the LFS that they were getting a fresh shipment of live rock today. So i went and bought 10G salt mix and another heater to get things started, so I could take advantage of the live rock selection.

While I was there, I purchased the AI Nano Stream. AI Ghost Skimmer, a digital thermometer and 11 Lbs of LR to get my cycle going! Cant wait to get the mount for the nano light.

I'm trying to buy the equipment i want the FIRST time, not something that will hold me over, just to upgrade a month later.

Lastly, I have a package coming from Steve at inTank of the media, insert and the JBJ Nano ATO. I'm about $1200 deep in 1 weeks worth of time. The only thing left to purchase now is the MJ900 pump upgrade and then I'm calling it quits until the cycle is done! Enjoy!

Fresh from the box! Fiji Rock

How it sits currently!

I have a fusion 10g with an AI nano on it. It's about 2 weeks old. Curious to hear if the Ghost fits with the nano mounting arm. The arm isn't small, def takes up some room in that back chamber.

I'll let you know bud. If anything, this gives me time to fabricate something to make them work together.

Man, just confirmed with AI that you cannot use the arm mount for the nano with the ghost skimmer. They would interfere with each other. The only option would be to mount it from the ceiling, which I don't think I want to do in my brand new home. Any ideas here guys? Anyone seen anything pre-fabricated to make these work together? I'll have to try and make something...

I just ordered the 48" Ext Mount with a 12" horizontal arm. Looks like this is my only option to use this light and skimmer setup.....hey, whats another $100, right? :headwally:

Yeah, not surprised. I have the AI nano from a previous tank. I've actually been looking for a new light because I didn't think it would work with anything in the center compartment back there. I'm figuring a gooseneck type mounted light will work better (kessil, nano box).

Well, I came home today to 3 more boxes :) Two from Marine Depot and one from Steve at InTank.

The Tunze Osmolator ATO was quite intimidating when unpacking it, but with a little patience, I was able to figure it out. I also cut out the back of the stand to allow for my 3 Gallon water reservoir for the ATO system. Everything fits perfect!

Everything tucked away nice and clean!

And a full tank shot for now :) Fighting micro bubbles and such, but it'll work for now. I think I like the aquascape. Tough see, but I've created a "cave" with a good bit of flat rock work also for shelves.

Well my IM EXT mount came in today, with the 12" extension. I knew it wasn't meant for the nano, but figured I could fabricate something to make it work. Needless to say, its the best $100 i've spent so far. I am very happy with it and with some drilling, I was able to make it work flawlessly!

A shot from our kitchen looking into the living room. Its clearly become the focal point now :)

Just picked this up yesterday so I can learn to use it in the mean time while my tank cycles! Should be able to get somewhat used to it while I wait for my tank to cycle! I plan to pick up a nice macro lens in the next couple of months for some good tank shots
